Mayves is a new design platform, specialising in innovative paper products and focusing on affordable and accessible design.
 

We take our inspiration from aesthetics and our children's creativity in equal measure, because we feel that the best designs are inspired not just by form and function, but also by play. ​
 

The environment is very important to us, and that is why all our designs and products are environmentally friendly.

Birth of a Bright Idea​

​

When the daughter of architect Yvette and designer Denis was born prematurely, they designed a 'welcome home' announcement once they were able to bring her home in good health.

​

​​Their design later developed into the Cardle, when Yvette was looking for a way to construct a candle holder from a simple sheet of paper in order to create a special way of sending a message with a little something extra, a way to convey emotions beyond words.
​
The Cardle is available in various packaging concepts and designs. We currently have a new 'Card and Candle in one' concept in development: the 'B'lumen'.
